Where It Started
Twenty-five years ago, I was a parent looking for a bilingual music program for my son.
It didn’t exist.
So I built it.
What began in living rooms as VamosTodos – Spanish Through Art and Music became MúsicaBaby — the foundation of what is now GoCreative Programs.
Over the years, the program expanded into private preschools, Pre-K–8 schools, bookstores, and community organizations. In 2006, I served as an expert reviewer for the Illinois Early Learning Standards Kindergarten Project Team, further strengthening the alignment between creative programming and educational benchmarks.
In 2013–2014, after fighting cancer twice, I made a clear decision to focus exclusively on early childhood. Ages 1–5 became my priority. The early years are where language foundations are built.
MúsicaBaby has remained the blueprint.
The Music That Travels Beyond the Classroom
The songs used in MúsicaBaby were written inside real classrooms to reinforce core Spanish vocabulary through repetition and melody.
In 2018, I released Happy Land is Tierra Feliz, produced by Grammy-winning children’s music producer Dean Jones and recognized by Billboard among Best Latin children’s music releases.
Today, those same classroom-tested songs power our national Being Bilingual Rocks! concerts presented in schools, libraries, park districts, and organizations nationwide.
MúsicaBaby is not a side program.
It is the foundation of a 25-year bilingual education model.
